Sometimes one of the most difficult things to do with students, young or old, is getting them to practice their lessons. One reason is because they don't see how practicing can be any fun. Another reason is that some students, who do practice regularly, get frustrated because they don't see the results that they want. This is usually due to practicing in the wrong fashion. Through demonstrations and group exercises, this clinic shows how aspiring musicians can use their imagination to not only help make practicing more interesting, but to also set goals and to work towards those goals.
